Enter as much information as you can find into an APA format. If there is a DOI available, use the DOI instead of the URL.

For material accessible only through a URL, use "Retrieved from" and the URL. If the work is not directly available online or must be purchased, use "Available from" and the URL.

  • For a standard nonperiodical website, you can use the following format:

Author, A. B. (Date of publication). Title of document. Retrieved from http://www.webaddress.com

  • To cite an article from an online periodical:

Author, A., & Author, B. (Date of publication). Title of article. Title of Online Periodical, volume number(issue number if available). doi:0000000/000000000000
