Students, Staff, Alumni, ASPEC, Friends, and USF St. Petersburg and Tampa students may renew checkout out items twice. The renewal period is for 21 days from the original due date of the item. After the second renewal due date the item must be returned to the library.

You have a few options for renewing a book:

1) Bring the book into the library (you must have your student ID card with you) and ask to renew it at the Circulation Desk, OR

2) Renew online using the View Your Account link on the Library Services page.

Log into your library account with your 7-digit Eckerd ID number and last name:

Click on the My Account tab:

Check the titles you wish to renew and click the 'Request Renewal' button.

 

NOTE: If you have an item checked out for more than 21 days, other patrons can 'recall' the item.  A recall notice is then sent to you via e-mail, requesting you to return the item for others to use.  A recall immediately changes the due date of that item, nullifying the original due date. There is no grace period for recalled items and the fines accumulate at the rate of $1.00 per day.
