The Request this item link appears for any physical book, DVD, or journal within the catalog and allows a patron to place a hold on an item using their Library account.  You must be logged into your Eckerd gmail account to see the Request this item link for an item. Here is how the link should appear in OneSearch:

Once a request is placed, it should be fulfilled in 1-2 business days UNLESS the item is already checked out by another user. An e-mail confirmation will be sent once the request is ready.  Requested items can be picked up from the Circulation desk. NOTE: Non-circulating items such as reference books, course reserves, and journals cannot be requested through this process. If you encounter any issues, please submit them to our Feedback form and we will address them to the extent possible.
