Some course textbooks may be available for checkout in the library but we do not actively add textbooks to our collection.  Some faculty will place a copy of their textbook on Course Reserve.  These are available at the Circulation Desk.  Course Reserves can be be checked out for two hours at a time, but may not be removed from the library.

To check the online catalog for a textbook that is either on reserve or in the stacks, use OneSearch to type in the title of your course textbook and select "Catalog Only" to refine your results to materials that are in the library. If a book is available for checkout in the main library, the "Location" on the catalog record will be "Stacks."  If a book is on Course Reserve, the "Location" on the catalog record will be "Reserve Material -- Ask at Circulation Desk."
