All file uploads are reviewed for open access status. Not all journals are open access and those that are open access have very specific criteria for publishing. These may require author payment of Article Processes Fees or an open access pathway that only allows the sharing of “Accepted” versions of manuscripts, often with an embargo period. The library checks the open access status of publications using the Sherpa/Romeo tool. Open access files are made available for view and download. Files without open access are Closed but available to authors. Records with no files will be linked to the publisher version of the articles.
