The Eckerd College Library provides institutional access to The Economist directly via the website economist.com. Use the following instructions to get connected:
1. First, confirm you are signed into your Eckerd College gmail account.
2. Go to economist.com website
3. Click the log in button and add your Eckerd email to main login area. No password is necessary.
4. Once you add your email, the form updates with the following message and then logs you in automatically. If you are not signed into your Eckerd gmail account, it will prompt you to do so. Once logged in, you should see The Economist homepage.
5. If you view your Account, it should show the following confirmation that access is via our institutional account:
