We know that instant access to current newspapers is essential. Here is a summary of how to access various newspapers through the Library's website from our Databases tab on the Library homepage:

ACCESS VIA LIBRARY PROXY - No account needed; use links below and sign in with your Eckerd gmail account.

Chronicle of Higher Education

Washington Post

ACCESS BY CREATING YOUR OWN ACCOUNT - then login via any browser or download app for your device

Wall Street Journal

New York Times

ACCESS VIA DATABASES

Tampa Bay Times - via NEWSBANK (note this is the ONLY way TBT provides institutional access)

For other newspapers ad magazines you are interested in, you can use the Journal search tab on the Library homepage to see if access is provided through any of our existing platforms. In many cases, these provide the original text of an article but may exclude images and graphics.
